What the number means
The price on each plan is the manufacturer's suggested retail. Here is exactly what it covers.
It is the builder's published price for the home itself, in its standard configuration, for California. Your finished home also needs to be delivered, installed and connected, and those costs depend on your land. We quote them in writing, itemized, before you commit to anything.

Questions we hear most
Straight answers
Is the price shown the price I'll pay?
It's the manufacturer's suggested retail price for the home itself. Your total also includes delivery, installation, foundation, permits, utility hookups and any options, all of which depend on where the home is going. Ask us for a quote and you'll get every line item in writing.
Where can I put one of these homes?
On private land you own, in a manufactured-home community, or as an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) behind an existing house where local rules allow. Several of the CrossMod plans are noted by Clayton as ADU-compliant or garage-capable.
What is a CrossMod home?
CrossMod® is Clayton's line of homes built to the federal HUD Code but with site-built features such as a permanent foundation, higher roof pitch, garage-capable designs and drywall interiors. They are designed to qualify for conventional financing programs and to be appraised alongside site-built homes.
Can I change a floor plan or the finishes?
Yes. Each series has a menu of options: porches, extra bathrooms, office or den conversions, cabinet and flooring packages, appliances and more. Options are priced by the factory and added to your quote.
How long does it take?
Build time depends on the factory's schedule and the plan; permitting and site work depend on your county. We'll give you a realistic timeline for your specific project rather than a generic number.
Do you help with financing?
We work with lenders who specialize in manufactured and CrossMod homes, including chattel loans for homes in communities and land-home loans for private property. We'll introduce you and stay involved through closing.
