Who issues the permits

Start with the parcel address and confirm the jurisdiction. For a private-lot project inside Menifee, the City's Building and Safety department coordinates permit review with other City departments. For a home in a mobilehome park, confirm the park's enforcement agency through HCD.

What the lots are like

Compare the proposed home's footprint with your parcel's zoning, setbacks, existing buildings and delivery access. A compact floor plan is a starting point for an ADU discussion; its size alone does not establish whether it can be installed on your property.
