Who issues the permits
The City of Menifee (incorporated in 2008) issues installation permits through its Building and Safety division; Quail Valley, Sun City and Romoland areas within the city follow the same process.
What the lots are like
Menifee mixes 55-plus communities, flat half-acre lots and newer subdivisions. It is one of the shortest hauls from the Clayton plant in Perris, which keeps delivery cost down.
Good to know
Menifee's flat terrain usually means simpler site prep than the hill cities, and the short trip from Perris helps the delivery line on the estimate.
